THURSDAY (DJIA -135) Risk was off today as U.S. stocks fell to their lowest level in a month even in the face of better than expected housing starts for Oct., a gradual decline in jobless claims, and a Philly Fed survey whose results show that we are still in a modest expansion phase in the manufacturing sector, albeit slower.
